A young Canadian man suffering from a serious heart condition has been abducted and tortured by the Bahraini regime ¬– yet the government of Prime Minister Stephen Harper has maintained a steadfast silence over his plight.
I am proud to say that Chris Ivany is a good friend of mine, and of course one of the reasons i like him so much is his altruistic nature. He helped to protect my son and myself during game 7, and we parted ways after he escorted us to the Skytrain station from which we evacuated. He went on to warn many people, such as people with kids, and seniors, that because they were not safe in what was fast becoming a riot. He later got tired of watching people destroy their own city, and tried...

February 2, 2011
VANCOUVER – The BC government should cancel corporate tax cuts implemented on July 1, 2008, January 1, 2010 and January 1, 2011 and shift the focus back to British Columbians’ priorities.
“This BC Liberal government is completely out-of-touch with BC voters and with economic realities. The two most recent tax cuts linked to the BC Carbon Tax – January 1, 2010 and January 1, 2011 – were implemented on the same day as increases in Medicare Services Premiums...

Liberal Kevin Falcon has set himself up as the business leadership candidate. Now New Democrat hopeful Adrian Dix has claimed the opposite side.
Dix took one of the bolder positions of both campaigns so far by saying he would raise corporate taxes to fund needed services. It’s striking how little real discussion there has been of the dramatic business tax cuts over the last decade and the resulting service cuts and much higher taxes and fees paid by...
A series of provocative, leak-filled articles on the collapse of the Obama Presidency, including a report of Obama's "severe depression," and intense fights over the future of the U.S. and the Democratic Party, have appeared on the web, authored by "Ulsterman" in recent weeks.
Wayne Madsen Reports Obama Depressed & Schizophrenic

Recently, someone who claims s/he’s a White House insider has been talking to blogger Ulsterman about what’s happening behind-the-scenes in the Obama administration. Fellowship of the Minds has dubbed this anonymous White House insider ”DeepThroat2″ (DT2) – after the famous anonymous source for Washington Post reporters Woodward and Bernstein on Nixon’s Watergate scandal.
It’s now been a week since the G-8,G-20 summits in Toronto. I’ve felt I needed to take this time to step back and look at what really happened here before I write about it. There are two aspects to consider, the crime that was committed behind the fence and crimes committed on the other side of the fence in what the police did on the streets to draw attention away from it.
It's time for the Prime Minister to take responsibility for the G20 fiasco.
A room filled with police officers stare at pulsing screens; feeds from 85 cameras cover most of Toronto's downtown core. This was the command centre for the G20 Integrated Security Unit (there was another ISU command centre in Barrie). In charge was the RCMP Chief Supt. Alphonse MacNeil.
On Wednesday at the G-20, Stephen Harper’s 1.9 million dollar fake lake made waves as a small earth quake was felt in Toronto. The tsunami in Harper’s lake is small potatoes compared to the wave of protesters that will hit the city on the weekend.
Still days before the start of the G-20 conference in Toronto the protests are in full swing even though none of the political leaders have hit town yet. Not only does this show how displeased the Canadian public have become with the way the Harper government makes arrogant decisions that will affect all Canadians for years to come, but how disillusioned we have become with the Canadian political system.

Winnipeg: June 16, 2010 Chief Peter Yellow Quill of the Anishinabe nation has been burned off his land and assaulted for challenging Canada's colonial Indian Act: and yesterday, he stood with other residential school survivors in resistance to the so-called "Truth and Reconciliation Commission" (TRC) that opened in Winnipeg, Canada. "This was organized murder and child rape! And we won't be able to even name the names of those responsible at this farce!" declared Peter to the crowd of...
Scientists are finding enormous oil plumes in the deep waters of the Gulf of Mexico, including one as large as 10 miles long, 3 miles wide and 300 feet thick in spots. The discovery is fresh evidence that the leak from the broken undersea well could be substantially worse than estimates that the government and BP have given.
“There’s a shocking amount of oil in the deep water, relative to what you see in the...
Hackers have flooded the Internet with virus-tainted spam that targets Facebook’s estimated 400 million users in an effort to steal banking passwords and gather other sensitive information.

Government Determined to Connect Hasan and al-Qaeda

The Nidal Malik Hasan as al-Qaeda pasty story grows larger and more absurd with each passing hour. Now it is said Hasan reached out to the phantom terrorist group and the U.S. Army knew about this but didn’t tell anybody.
Can you say déjà vu? The story is beginning to look like a supplemental chapter in the 9/11 fairy tale.
