The New World Order refers to a new world economic order and world government.  The New World Order is a hostile takeover of the world by imperialist oligarchs creating a world governmental infrastructure which would replace the sovereign nation-state.  Economic power would be consolidated in the hands of the few.   Many elites and oligarchs are calling for a New World Order  and global governance to solve many of the worlds problems; both economic and social.  Many problems are created and manipulated to drum up support for the New World Order.  One such problem is "anthropogenic global warming."  Contrary to what the real science indicates, politicians like Al Gore, who are agents for the oligarchs of the world, are calling for Global Governance to combat global warming.  Many people believe that agents of the oligarchs in the United States are purposefully trying to crash the US economy and the dollar to eventually replace it with new world economic order and world currency.  Globalization is bringing us closer to a world order with free trade deals integrating the economies of many countries.  The privatization of nations' resources by corporations, the outsourcing of jobs, and free trade deals are all attacks on the sovereignty of the nation-state. The elites and the oligarchs collaborate to consolidate the wealth of the world.  The European Union is a perfect example of this.  The New World Order remains a threat to democracy because people would be unable to democratically elect individuals that would have immense influence over entire economies and nations.
