In this page we will compare and contrast the different spiritual philosophies from all over the world to see if we can find a fundamental pattern between different cultures regarding spiritual beliefs and spiritual philosophy and how these philosophies are intertwined with health and wellbeing. Whether it be from the main monotheistic religions of Christianity, Islam, and Judaism, the western philosophies of Hermes Trimegistus, Plato, and Aristotle, the the eastern traditions of the Veda, Buddhism and Taoism, the small mini sects of Zoroastrianism, Catharism, or the small indigenous tribes of the world, we will do a full discourse on the main fundamental points of all spiritual traditions to find a unifying factor in all beliefs in a field where people focus on the divisive factors. It is our position that mankind can be unified by truth and principle and this is what we wish to find. The health is an important aspect of many spiritual traditions. Many spiritual traditions and philosophies serve communities and individuals to help cultivate a healthy mind, body and spirit. Many traditions promote harmony between these 3 dynamics of being. Chinese medicine for instance has greatly influenced from the sages of the Taoist tradition in China. Taoism for instance promotes phsycial and spiritual immortality through the cultivation of health. They promote the health of individuals and communities through virtues and harmony with the natural laws of the enviroment, the cosmos, and humanity. Out of the Vedas comes a similar philosophy called Ayurveda. The commonality of many of these traditions is holism: that everything is integrated and interlinked holistically and that communion with nature, each other and our environment is the key to physical and spiritual health. Prayer, mantras, meditation, rituals and their functions will be discussed in relation to modern science and ancient views on the nature of the universe. We will see how ancient cosmology relates today with modern science and how the effects of prayer, mantras, and meditation can be explained scientificly and psychologically. Science is starting to corroborate the viewpoints of many ancient spiritual traditions. What science is proving today is that we live in a holographic universe of energy and information. The universe has a geometric structure at the subatomic level. Thus the universe is Fractal in nature. The implication is that there is an infinite amount of energy in any finite structure. Quantum Physics, Cymatics (the study of the role that sound plays in creating waveforms), Nassim Haramein's Holofractographic universal field theory, and Epigenetics are completely revolutionizing the sciences today, as well as the way we view the universe and ourselves. We know that we have infinite potential to develop and evolve, and that we are conscious co creators of the universe. Epigenetics (the study of external environmental factors and their effects of genetic expression) has completely overturned the old notion of genetic determinism. We have the ability through our faith and intention to shape who we are and what we are in relation to the rest of the universe. Science and Spirituality is the same. We hope that with many spiritual philosophies discussed and compared along with our own personal philosophies, that we might be able to find out some fundamental principles of humanity and the cosmos we live in. Having a better understanding of the nature of man and our environemnt is a goal man has been seeking since the dawn of time and in every civilization across the planet. We have never been closer to having a complete picture. |
